Malta Citizenship by Naturalisation for Exceptional Services by Direct Investment
1) Contribution/Donation
A contribution of EUR 600,000 for a minimum residence period of 36 months
Or
A contribution of EUR 750,000 for a minimum residence period of 12 months
+
Additional EUR 50,000 for each dependent included in the application
2) Real Estate
The purchase of a residential property in Malta of at least EUR 700,000, which must be held for five years.
Or
The lease of a residential property with a rental value of at least EUR 16,000 per annum, also held for five years.
3) Donation to an NGO
A donation of at least EUR 10,000 to a registered sport, cultural, scientific, philanthropic, animal welfare, or artistic non-governmental organization or society, as approved by the Community Malta Agency.
4) Government Due Diligence Fee
Main applicant EUR 7,500

Additional 5,000 EUR for each adult dependent

Additional 3,000 EUR for each minor dependent between 13 and 17 years of age
5) Passport Cost
500 EUR per passport
Costs of Malta Permanent Residency
Applicants must make a qualifying investment to fulfil the basic requirement of Malta’s Permanent Residence Program’. This includes purchasing or renting a property in the country, donating to the Maltese Government and completing a Philanthropic donation.
1) Real Estate
Applicants can either purchase property in Malta and hold it for a minimum of 5 years or rent a property for 5 years with a minimum rent.

2) Investment
Applicants must complete a minimum donation to the Government of Malta of EUR 98,000 and a Philanthropic donation of EUR 2,000.
