The Government of Greece introduced the Greece Residence by Investment Program in 2013. Under the program, applicants can secure a five-year residency, which can undergo renewal every five years. With a no-stay requirement, the program makes it possible for applicants to benefit from a straightforward residency route.
The applicants for this program must be at least 18 years of age, in good health, and without a criminal record. Furthermore, the investor is required to make a real estate purchase or lease investment.
Residents of Greece who have Greek Permanent Residency are able to visit all 26 countries in the Schengen Area visa-free. You can visit the following countries upon securing the Greece Permanent Residency:
