The EB-5 Visa Programme requires the applicant to invest a minimum of USD 800,000 in a US business, typically through a Regional Centre licensed by US Department of Homeland Security. Approximately 24 months after investing, the applicant will receive an initial conditional green card. After holding the conditional green card for two years, the EB-5 applicant can apply for a permanent green card.
